I have always been very into watches ever since i started buying my very first “expensive” watch from Bvlgari… it was to reward myself and also i really needed a decent watch for work.

I remember someone telling me that, it is very important for a man to wear a good watch, firstly, it is very important to be punctual and the watch is also a good representation of your character.

Since then i had bought a few watches and i realized that the value of the watches been going up and it is actually a very good investment! so if you really like to invest in one, buy NOW!!! if you can afford, if not the price will go up sooner than u can save up!

I really think that all man should invest in at least 3 watches in their wardrobe… one for sports, one for work and one for casual.

I am no watch guru, neither am i rich to invest in very expensive watches. In fact, most of the time i just look out for the design (i know i sound like a himbo!!!)

My criteria when it comes to finding the perfect watch are:

The face has to be big bigger biggerer, though my wrist is pretty thin – 6 and a quarter inch!!!

Chronograph (it just looks better, in my opinion)

FINALLY, after eyeing at so many watches in the market, i got my eyes glued on a beauty!!!

I was attracted by ”The big, generously designed crown lever” of GRAHAM’s Chronofighter !

I went on to google more info and details and it got me more interested…

The Chronofighter is the quintessential stopwatch series. Back in the forties, during the allied bomber raids, pilots needed to know how many seconds flight they were past a certain landmark. High up, very cold, being shot at and of course wearing gloves, they needed a specially designed stopwatch.

The big, generously designed crown lever, a precision mechanical movement, the rugged construction and a big dial were vital elements for a watch designed for such a mission.

Pilots are not the only people for whom elapsed time is a critical element. Inspired by and dedicated to pursuits such as diving, racing and exploring, the Chronofighter series is Graham’s answer to split-second timing in extraordinary environments.

Vice & Vanity was formed in 2006 by Vivi Lim and Aaron Kao who received no formal training in design.
Both share a common aesthetic for all things creative and innovative, culminating in a favourite pastime for
collecting and making curiosities. The label happened by accident when a friend invited them to create a line
for his boutique. They went on to design 3 more collections before they were invited to exhibit at the SS09
London Fashion Week. They were also shortlisted to be in the 09/10 Who’s Next exhibition Held in Paris and
for 2010.

ONI - The native American name represents birth out of holy ground while in Japan,
its the name of a devilish entity with sharp claws.
This collection interpretes the tension of opposites - with leather clad diamond facets attempting to pop out
of an entrapment of sharp serrated edges in an interlocking formation that is reminescent of industrial gears grinding away, with mindless mechanical obedience.
There are scents of native aesthetics which have no belonging.
However if they do, they belong to a dream trapped in a comedy of playfullness and oddity.

“Young & Restless” is made for the free-spirited, confident and unpretentious woman, who is sophisticated yet, bold enough to daydream. She is forever young and down-right restless.

After several successful collaborations, Ashburn Eng and Max Tan found a precious friendship that led both the stylist and fashion designer to more creative partnerships. Through this dynamic relationship, “Young & Restless” was created.

Designer’s Profile

Having achieved much success as a fashion stylist and creative director of Test Shoot Gallery, Ashburn Eng’s works received due recognition when he was the recipient of the two top prizes at the Iconique Societás Awards in 2009 for Best Fashion Stylist and Overall Winner.

Ashburn never fails to offer spot-on advice to the designers he has worked with. Throughout the many years of his styling career, these designers have greatly benefitted from his knowledge of clothing presentation and corrections. This, in return, sparked the idea of him creating his own line of designs.

Principle Line: Max.Tan

Max.Tan is a critically acclaimed Singaporean fashion label which has done its nation proud by being the only local label to present its androgynous designs and avant-garde works in the prestigious MODEFABRIEK show in Amsterdam. It is also the only Singaporean label that has been selected to represent Singapore to compete in an international fashion competition that will be held in Shanghai in October 2010.

Seoul, Korea (September 10, 2010) - PUMA unveiled its first Asian designer collaboration project with General Idea, a fashion label owned by Korea's top fashion designer Bumsuk Choi.

Born into poverty in a rural area of Seoul, Bumsuk Choi was never given the opportunity to enjoy proper design education unlike many others. After taking on many different jobs to make a living, he soon started a small clothing business at a wholesale market. During such hardships, his love for music and fashion helped him to hold on and build his dream to become a world famous designer. Today he enjoys his fame as one of the top names in Korean fashion. With his menswear label that mixes avant-garde design with a sense of roughness, he not only became the youngest designer who ever joined the Seoul Collection in 2004 but also became the first Korean menswear designer to show at New York Fashion week in 2009.

Chosen as the first designer to become a part of the PUMA Archive collaboration project in Asia, which invites Asian designers to tell their storied style of PUMA, Bumsuk Choi was asked to design PUMA's iconic Disc Blaze by drawing inspiration from the fun filled life of young trendsetters in the vibrant, trendy and modern Seoul.

Introduced together with the Disc Blaze is a special hooded sweat designed with the same rhythmic typographic patterns. Both the Disc Blaze and hooded sweat are introduced in 2 color ways: Black with a neon green accent and white with a red color accent.
